Here are two (2) valves suitable for the Art Tube range of mic preamps…..either the MP or MP3.
They are 12AX7A tubes….one very slightly used (approx 18 hours) and the other is brand new.
IMHO either of these will make the Art Tube sound a whole lot better.
They are basically very easy to change… take out the 4 screw’s at the side of the unit / lift the top off carefully / remove the existing valve and replace it with one if these. Screw the unit back together again and Bob’s your uncle!
