Focusrite Platinum Trakmaster – Microphone pre-amp or line or instrument input processor.
I bought this for one of my kids but they didn’t show any interest, so it is in virtually unused as-new condition, and comes with the mains cable, box and manual etc.
It has 48v phantom power, mic or inst (on front) or line(on back) inputs, input gain, high-pass crossover, metering, optical compressor, tube/valve FX, 3 band EQ, and output level control.
Typical Focusrite – it is designed to give a clear transparent input, but also has the potential to create specific sounds with the adjustable EQ, compressor and valve-effect.
It works great, sounds great and looks great. :o)
(Note – This is the high quality one sold before they down-marketed the replacement to the “pro” one (with the Vu meter) which was a cheaper sounding, lower-function unit that relied upon external power, rather than this one which is a more professional unit with better functionality, sound, and on-board power.)
