If you have clicked on this listing, youve probably got one of the best professional microphones ever built- the Classic AKG C-414 and so you know exactly what this is.
This H17A device affords just that little bit extra protection for your beloved microphone.
Its a substantial outer covering in black metal and has an interior foam wind gag which all seems intact.
It also helps with handling noise by suspending the entire thing with rubber o ring bands in a metal cradle.
It locks using a rubber band which Ive replaced but still needs attention as its not a firm fit for some reason (black pvc insulation tape would be prefect).
If your 414 is a bit rough looking then this will give it a new lease of life as its in excellent condition having had only minimal use if any at all.
Please look carefully at the pictures because they form part of the description.
Ive included a couple of spare rubber o rings for future use but the sale DOES NOT include the silver tripod mini legs which are for display purposes only.
This would need to be fitted to a proper microphone stand/mount as with a 414 inside it would be quite a beast in need of proper support.
Maybe just the job for your home or professional recording studio.
