Here is a rare SDC microphone from Oktava. The MKE-15a is a late Soviet era mic with a wide range of applications. Like many Russian condensers of the period it is battery powered and will run on a contempery LR33 1.5v ‘button battery’. The styling of the mic implies it was designed for vocal work, but it seems quite at home in front of most instruments or as an over head. It is in very good used condition and sounds like it should. It comes in its original case with mic clip, spare XLR plug, technical information(in Russian) and what looks like a battery charger although no rechargable batteries are supplied. The mic will come will a LR44 battery fitted as shown in the pictures.
I have another MKE-15a listed, should you require a pair of these funky mics from back in the day.
