With a 40GB internal hard drive the MR-8HD multi-track recorder you can record audio for up to 15 hours on 8-tracks, and get CD quality (16 bit/44.1kHz) output. The audio recorder has built-in digital effects that include reverb, delay, mic simulation, and guitar amp to sweeten the audio tracks. The MR-8HD is empowered with phantom power on all four XLR/1/4 inch jack inputs. The S/P DIF Digital Out on the multi-track recorder enables digital mastering on external DAT, MiniDisc, and CD recorder. Transfer the stereo WAV file between the audio recorder and PC via the USB port. The MR-8HD boasts a 128 x 64 LCD with extensive features.

The MR8-HD features 4 balanced phantom powered XLR / unbalanced jack inputs. The 8 tracks record at true uncompressed CD quality to the internal hard drive, theres the facility for 4 track simultaneous recording, built-in mic and guitar amp simulation, reverb / delay and cool mastering effects. Plus, the USB interface and the WAV file recording make it a snap to transfer recordings to and from a PC for further editing / CD burning. Each of the MR-8HDs dual mic/line inputs has phantom power for use with professional condenser mics, its own level control and clip LED. In addition, Input A features a special guitar input with its own analogue distortion level control. Digital Reverb/Delay and guitar amp or mic simulation FX can be added whilst recording any track. All channels feature a 45mm volume fader and dedicated controls for pan and external FX send. For added flexibility full 8-track bouncing is available complete with digital mastering effects.
