Features to feast on
The M-Audio Code 49 BK has virtually everything you need including backlit RGB pads, slider and encoders, transport buttons, pitch and modulation wheels and even an X/Y pad that lets you adjust two parameters in a 2-dimensional context, like surround panning, for example. That is, assuming your plugins and/or synths support such functionality, of course.
Software included
It’s likely that you already have DAW software and perhaps a number of virtual instruments, but just in case you don’t, the Code 49 BK comes with Ableton Live Lite so that you can started right away. You also get a large collection of sounds in form of Hybrid 3 and an additive synthesizer called Loom, both by AIR Music Technology.
