Buena Park, CA (April 3, 2019)—Yamaha has unveiled its new DXRmkII series of powered loudspeakers. Set to ship this summer, the DXR15mkII, DXR12mkII, DXR10mkII and DXR8mkII build on the legacy of the company’s DXR series, aiming to improve performance while reducing weight. Created in conjunction with the loudspeaker engineering team at Nexo, the DXRmkII models reportedly reach a higher SPL than the previous series, due to a larger, 1.75" voice coil HF compression driver and amp tuning tackled by the Nexo team.
