For sale is a Calsboro Alpha PM15 powered monitor with a EM12 passive monitor. A cable to connect the two and a mains lead are also included as is the original Celestion speaker for the PM15. I fitted the replacement Celestion speaker after I believed the original to have blown. The distortion continued after replacement and it was then that I realised the tweeter needed replacing. This I did. I have not since tested the original speaker but I can’t see any defect in it. When I fitted the replacement speaker I spilt solder on the edge of the cone and in trying to remove it made a small hole which can be seen on the photos. I have used it since and I have not noticed any problem in the performance of the speaker. The sliders on the graphic have all snapped off but it still works and can be altered by using a plectrum. The gain knob on the EM12 is missing. The items are for collection only.
