Shure’s new TwinPlex subminiature microphone. Las Vegas, NV (April 9, 2019)—At the 2019 NAB Show, Shure has released TwinPlex, a new line of subminiature omnidirectional lavalier and headset microphones. The new patent-pending, 5 mm capsule technology is intended for use in theater, broadcast, film and television, and corporate presentations. The line is built around four lavaliers (TL45, TL46, TL47, TL48) and an adjustable headset microphone (TH53) in multiple colors. TwinPlex derives its name from its dual-diaphragm, omnidirectional design, employed to provide off-axis consistency.
