Yamaha PS-20 Sampler instrument pack for Ableton Live 10 Suite, if you have Live 10 standard instead of suite I can convert to Simper instruments if you send me a message when you order. Also includes my original WAV samples so if you’re good with DAW samplers you could use them with pretty much any pro DAW you want.
All 10 PS-20 presets sampled by myself direct from an original 1981 Yamaha PS-20 into my Tascam interface, I sampled all the white keys on the keyboard so no notes get pitch-shifted further than 1 semitone for the best and most authentic sounding samples possible. Once you start using ableton to enhance the sounds with LFO’s/delay/reverb etc it sounds way better than the hardware and a MacBook plus a midi keyboard will weigh a lot less than an actual PS-20 which is huge and weighs a ton by today’s standards, this is what prompted me to create this sample pack from my personal keyboard so I don’t have to bother dragging it around anymore. It is also impossible to play multiple patches at once on the hardware which is super easy in ableton and sounds amazing.
A favourite keyboard of Beach House, this pack is perfect for getting a charming, dreamy sound inside ableton without spending loads on vintage hardware and having to deal with a giant, clunky keyboard that only has one velocity, has no midi capability, couldn’t even fit on my desk and could easily be damaged.
