One of the greatest sounding synths ever made, certainly the pinnacle of Roland’s 1990’s digital development. Rack version of the legendary JD-800, but improves on that beast in many well documented ways (not least by not being wedded to the terrible keybed and associated dreaded ‘red glue’ issues of the JD-800!). In beautiful shape with good bright screen, recent new battery, minor age-related rack wear but face is very clean indeed, and sounds amazing, particularly with the ‘SR-JV80-04’ vintage synth sounds, many of which are only accessible when this expansion board is fitted to a JD990. This card is the most desirable of the ‘SR-JV80’ library, and sells for between 150 and 200 on it’s own. UK/EU voltage unit with UK power lead included, plus the pair of original manuals and Waveform info card, all in good vintage shape (slight stain on one of the covers but both are neat and complete).
Sadly not much time for making music at the moment so I’m having a Spring clear-out of my home studio, check my other listings, mainly vintage gear,all in great shape and well looked after.
