For Sale is my Sound Skulptor MP 512 Mic Preamp, one of 3 I have .
I’m selling a pair (this Auction is for one only ) to make room for some new units .
The MP512 is Sound Skulptor’s version of the API pre, renowned for their mid range drive. A good deal ‘rowdier’ than the Neve style equivalent – equally as musical, but in a different way.
It also has a variable output pot so the front end can be driven hard without overdriving the following unit , eq , comp or converter or whatever.
This is it’s big selling point, particularly on things like kicks and snares. It’s also great for vocals and guitars , electric or otherwise.
