Yamaha RM1X Groovebox Sequencer
Cool little synth with some great lo-fi sounds. Comes with a large selection of patterns and sounds pre-loaded. Includes original manual and power supply.Full working order except for a couple of stiff buttons – read on for more info. It is showing it’s age a bit with a few knocks and scrapes (nothing major) but has always been a solid unit. I have also never used the floppy disk drive (!) so cannot confirm if that is working. *** A couple of the white keys can be difficult to press – this is a common complaint on these units and can be annoying. The soft tact switches or the entire button can be replaced fairly easily: the parts are available on eBay for a few pounds and there are tutorials on YouTube for replacing the switches. Please research this yourself before bidding if you are unsure. ***Personally I have always used an external MIDI keyboard connected via MIDI-in to completely bypass these keys.
