For Sale – the exceptionally Rare Digital Claptrap from Simmons

In short this unit uses an EPROM based ( very clever looping ) clap sample and an analog noise generator to make ( randomise-able) claps that you can trigger via an audio output or from hitting the TRS-80 style Trigger button on the top
This kind of unit was all over 80s funk recordings and I believe used to great effect on Uptown Funk. It just makes FAT, heavy claps and is now very rare indeed in full working order ( they weren’t the best build quality in the world )
This unit has been in use for the last few years at F9 Audio ( www.f9-audio.com ) and has been used in my professional work as the studio half of UK remix and production team the Freemasons.
