Digital Recorder
The Tascam DA-20 was introduced in January 1996.
This one I bought new and it was brilliant for mastering. Well still is
Very little use But regular use. in my bedroom only..

The DA-20 features 16-bit linear quantization in standard mode and 12 bit non-linear in long play mode.

With specifications you expect to find in quality digital audio products, the DA-20 boasts a S/N ratio and dynamic range of better than 91dB and total harmonic distortion less than 0.00045%.

Multiple Sampling Rates and Long Play Recording

The DA-20 supports three sampling frequencies for recording and playback: 48 K/44.1 K/ 32 KHz and records either digital or analog at 32KHz.
In long play mode (32KHz), the DA-20 can record and playback up to 4 hours of material on 120 DAT tapes.
The DA-20 was supplied with a wireless full-featured remote as a standard accessory.
It connects to existing audio equipment either by unbalanced RCA analog inputs and outputs, or through the S/PDIF digital I/O connectors on the back panel.

For mastering applications, SCMS-free recording is possible via a switchable power-on procedure. Tape Speed:
