Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 + power supply and FireWire cable. This unit has been used for the last few years in my small home studio and has never been rack mounted (still has the rack mount protective covers attached). The preamps on this unit are great and I have never had a problem with the quality recorded through this unit! I have been using this with an old Motu interface connected through the adat connections on the rear for an additional 8 analogue inputs so this is a fully expandable unit via adat.
Unfortunately there is damage to the channel 3 mic input as I tripped over a poorly placed cable and unfortunately this snapped the microphone input inside the unit when I removed the cable(please see the pics). All of the other channel inputs (1,2,4,5,6,7,8) work perfectly and I have used it in this condition for over a year without any problems ( I have just avoided using channel 3). This is in excellent working condition apart from the one faulty channel, both firewire ports are working perfectly and this still has a lot of life left in it for a small project or home studio in need of either an audio interface or an additional adat connected expansion for 7 inputs and 8 outputs. As I said these preamps are great for the price and I have produced some great sounding recordings with this unit!
(I have also got an older Motu 828 mk2 listed which was the unit I had connected via adat to this unit so check out my other listings if this is also of interest to you which expands this to a 16 analogue in and 16 out setup with 2 tos optical cables running through the adat ports)
I have reduced the price significantly on this due to the damage to the third channel but if you just need a solid interface for hooking up your mics and instruments to then this is a bargain ** Free UK P&P.
