Neumann TLM 103 Large Diaphragm Condenser Mic / orig wooden box EA1 shockmount. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
Brilliant example of the Neumann TLM103. Acquired when released back in the late 90’s this is one of the early original examples of this Neumann classic. (See the serial number 12911). Comes with original wooden box, mic holder and EA1 shockmount. As far as I am aware at some later point Neumann changed the specs of this mic and apparently these early ones are the ‘warmest and best’. I have had only this one so cannot judge that. (There’s discussion on the net about this)
From day one it has been used sparingly in my studio. Had little or no usage in the last 12 years or so and not much before that either as I have many mics for different things. It’s been a luxury sitting around to be honest but now has to go as I do not need this recording quality these days
I’ll not long list the technical specifics of this mic as you can get that from many online sources.
