Superb sounding synth / sample player rolled into one.
A classic that even today is one of the best choices for professional movie soundtrack composition/production, and music production across all kinds of genres. It has sounds taken from the modules before it (1080, 2080, 3080) as well as the Super JD and JD990.
Expandable with SRX and SR-JV80 rom cards. Also reads Akai sample CDs via the SCSI port.
Good condition. Front and back are perfect, top and bottom have a few scratches from racking. Two rear rubber feet are missing.
Easy to dial in and edit a sound, layers can be bypassed on the front panel with dedicated buttons, very intuitive.
Also has plenty of drum kits and percussion sets.
New battery recently installed.
Full original 300 page manual plus Quick Start guide and Q&A manuals (Japanese with some English).

Please let me know if you need a power cable (earthed/unearthed) as it just uses a standard 3 prong mains cable.
100v unit. Requires a step down transformer for US/UK/Europe mains voltages.
