It does not have the high voltage mic option.

ReviewMy jaws fell open when I first switched to the HV-3B. Its presence and clarity were outstanding. A solo voice sounded extremely immediate, and had an almost palpably real quality. The low end was very tight, showed good extension and slam, while the high end was detailed in the extreme, without the least amount of harshness…I’ll be saving my pennies to replace my [current solid-state reference].
Recording Magazine
This is a classic and rare item, seldom seen on ebay, or anywhere else. Purchased for my studio in 2001. I have another simialr unit and need to rationalise a bit. Tested with a number of mics today (26/5/19) inc NT1, Microtech Geffel with no issues.
Comes with power cable and manual. Original manual and box were lost in a move many years go. Is in great cosmetic condition, tiny marks on the steel chassis.
