For sale here is the fantastic Korg MS2000 Polyphonic Synthesizer.
This was my first synth and has a lot of character to it. You can get some truly epic sounds from this and I still spot them showing up with various bands even in 2019 (the band HENGE anyone? 🙂 ). The balance of the oscillators and the effects as well as the option to feed audio into it is really awesome. If you can’t tell, this is a somewhat reluctant sale but alas, I’ve not really the time any more to spend using it so selling it to someone who can get more enjoyment out of it! Anyway, enough of my review, I’m sure you’ll see many more on YouTube etc.
PLEASE NOTE that this has the issue whereby nudging the power adaptor too much on the back of the unit can briefly restart it. I believe it’s a fairly common problem and something that can fixed relatively easily but not something I really have time to spend doing these days.
Also, slight mark by the Modulation wheel but otherwise this really is in great condition. It’s only ever been gigged a couple of times many years ago and has been kept in a dry insulated room in a non-smoking house. The wooden panels on each end are still in great condition.
All synth keys, buttons and knobs are present and working perfectly. As I say, it’s been looked after.
I”m willing to post it however please allow me time to arrange courier. Collection welcome – I’m only a couple of miles from the M6 near to Keele services.
If you’re comparing various versions of the synth, this is the original MS2000, not the MS2000B. Please see the picture for the close up of the manufacturer tag. Any other questions please let me know.
No box or manual I’m afraid (manual available online) and the power supply is not the original but is a DC 9V adaptor which works fine (although see note above).
