This is a very rare Korg FC6 Foot Controller designed for the A1, A2 and A3 multieffects units, but it will work with any MIDI-equipped effects unit or instrument, sending patch changes and other information to effects units, synthesizers or other devices. See the full handbook readily obtainable on the web for all its programmable functions in Utility Mode.
The FC6 works off batteries or a simple 9V DC power supply (not included) and has a MIDI Out on the rear panel as well as two sockets for expansion footswitches and two sockets for expansion footpedals.
It’s ready-to-go for MIDI effects and other devices, you can use it to change patches on synthesizers and interface other foot controllers too.
The main connection to a Korg A1/A2/A3 effects unit (I have an A2 listed on eBay now) is an 8-pin full size DIN cable. I don’t seem to have this cable, if I’m able to find it I will include it, but it is not promised as part of the listing. An 8-pin full-size DIN cable is not difficult to find – there is a 2m one on Amazon UK under “Ancable” for just 11.19.
This unit works well despite some marks and scratches on the top, not very noticeable in use since it’s all-black, and the LED display still has its protective film in place.
