A very nice example of an AKG C414 B-TLII, in excellent condition inside and out. I am selling TWO of these with quite close serial numbers (see my other listings if you are looking for a pair)
– this auction is for ONE microphone SN 188673.
The C414 B-TLII is widely regarded as one of the best vintage C414 models made, and possibly second only to the phenomenally expensive 414-EB with the Brass capsule.
Compared to the modern gold-fronted 414 XLII the TLII is richer sounding with more controlled highs and less sibilance, superb on vocals or stringed instruments or in stereo.
