Welcome to this listing for my Zoom R8.Sereved me very well, always been reliable, great for sketching out songs and recording ideas but also capable of excellent pro sounding mixes for demos etc.Has built in drum machine with decent sounds and sampling capabilities.More recently I’ve been using it as a 24 bit audio interface and DAW controller (transport/fader/pan functions etc all work well), control functions can be used with most of the well known DAWs via Mackie Control compatibility – (except Pro Tools as no HUI compatibility as yet though I’ve read on line some people have it working as transport with PT on Mac)It has built in mics which are decent sounding and fine for recording ideas or rehearsals.Usual i/o but no digital, all ports are analogue. Phantom power for condenser mics etc. Also has very usable built in effects and guitar sims etc. Check the full spec at the Zoom website.Can work off mains (via USB manis adaper), USB bus power from PC or Mac, or 6 x AA batteries – very useful for using out and about.Comes with original box (admittedly slightly tatty) and a Yamaha foot-switch for remote play/record functionality.The master slider button (red one) is not original, it is a generic replacement – the slider itself functions as normal.Note the left sided built in mic was intermittently noisy for a while but has been fine since I updated the firmware to the latest version.
Includes USB cable, USB power adapter, footswitch, and original user manual. Drivers/software for Windows/Mac avilable at the Zoom website.
Will be well packed in bubblewrap for safe delivery. Collection in person fine if you live close enough.
