Three “Boom Bap” inspired template programs supplied on brand new HD floppy disks suitable for Akai MPC60, MPC60II, MPC3000, MPC2000/XL and S950. (MPC60 will require Roger Linn OS 3.10 or later). Sold as a set of three floppy disks, there are two for the MPC plus one for the S950. Also available for download in HxC format (.hfe) for use with floppy emulators in my other listing.
How are the templates set up?AKAI MPC CHROMATIC TEMPLATEThis template program for the MPC has 64 pads (Banks A-D) in chromatic order that correspond to MIDI note numbers 35-98. All other program parameters remain at their default settings. Great for triggering external MIDI synths, samplers and software synths using the MPC pads. You can customise the template according to your own set-up and needs.
AKAI MPC to SP1200 PAD TRIGGER TEMPLATEThis template program for the MPC has 32 MPC pads (Banks A-B) that correspond to the fixed MIDI note numbers of the SP1200 (Banks A-D). All other program parameters remain at their default settings. Ideal for triggering E-mu SP1200 samples using the MPC pads. You can customise the template according to your own set-up and needs. AKAI S950 KEYGROUP TEMPLATEThis template program for the Akai S950 sampler has 64 preset keygroups that correspond to MIDI note numbers 35-98 B1-D7. Each keygroup is set to hold a single sample. All other program parameters such as envelope shaping, filtering, MIDI channel, individual output assignments, tuning etc remain at their default settings. Used in combination with the MPC chromatic template, trigger S950 keygroups using the MPC pads. You can customise the template according to your own set-up and needs. This program is also will also work with Akai S1000/S1100 and compatible samplers.
