Roland HS-60 Polyphonic Synthesizer – 6 New Voice Chips – Immaculate – Juno 106
I purchased this synth a couple of years ago and it is in immaculate condition. The person I purchased it from said that it had previously been owned by Roland and shown at vintage Roland exhibitions, I can’t provide any other evidence for this but it wouldn’t surprise me as it really is super clean.
For those not aware this synth is essentially a Roland Juno 106 with inbuilt speakers. The internals are exactly the same but with the added convenience of being able to hear the synth without external speakers. The HS-60 was also released as the Juno 106s.
It includes a hard case and power supply, the hard case is slightly misshapen at either end but still structurally sound.
When I received the synth one of the original voice chips had died in transit. I decided to have all 6 replaced with Analogue Renaissance AR80017A chips at the cost of over 300.00, this work in addition to a calibration and service was completed this summer by a reputable tech. This means you won’t have to worry about voice chip problems for a long time.
I am really struggling to find any marks on it at all, but please do inspect the photographs for a full assessment of the condition. If you would like further photographs then please ask. The only think I should draw your attention to in regards to condition is when I received it the synth had a slight bend in the metal fascia underneath the keys on the front left where the screw is. The technician who serviced it for me straightened it out and it has almost completely gone, you wouldn’t know it was there if it wasn’t pointed out.

The hard case would provide good protection from external knocks but it is extremely heavy and could be damaged if it was dropped in transit. Collection is from approximately 2 miles south of Stafford town centre.
