Up for sale a B&K 606 Dyna Jet Tube Tester, great Emission tester .
Real easy to use even if you’ve never used a tester before , set 4 dials from the settings in the chart book & press a switch . It tests for Shorts , leakage Grid contamination, Grid Emission & Quality . It will pretty much test all the current makes of tube in Guitar /Bass amps , including KT66/88s & radio valves , but not the real old 4 pins.
The pics show testing a 12ax7 & a 6L6 also full calibration using my self made module ( only available here ) & shorts light working . Results are the same as my main tester I know to be accurate . The tester is in pretty good condition for its age , comes with a copy of the manual with lots of extra info & the original charts & calibration module with full instructions.
I replaced a few caps & resistors that were out of spec.
The vinyl cover is coming away in places & rust on the hinges of the case see pics, but solid, all catches work fine, the meter cover has a small solder burn. Inside its fine & the 6BN8 that powers the test is brand new. One of the straighteners is missing but not a problem. A socket saver is in No.2 as it was loose, works fine & can be removed if in the way.
This runs on 110V so you will need a step down transformer in the UK , easily & cheaply available 10 from ebay. I’ve been collecting testers for years , this is an honestly listed working tester , view the pics & please ask questions . sorry but collection is not available but I do pack carefully & post as soon as paid.
