9v battery powered., but battery not included! The G2M is a monophonic audio to MIDI note converter. It’s pitched to the range of a guitar, but it’ll try and process anything you put into it – it can force notes chromaticly if that floats your boat.
I’ve tried acoustic guitar, bass guitar, singing (badly), whistling, various synth modules and birdsong from online. Obviously purer tones work best.
