A pleasantly “warm” digital synthesizer, at a great price!

Description
The Korg X5D digital synthesizer, released in 1995, was in some ways a spiritual successor to the highly successful Korg M1 and 01/W synthesizers, though at a competitive price point. The X5D features the same AI2 sound engine as the Korg 01/W (which combined several of the AI processing chips found in the M1 and Korg T series), where samples are modulated non-linearly, producing rich harmonics as a result of distortion. The 01/W engine is known for its particularly warm and rich sounds. Additionally, some of the classic piano patches from the M1 are included in this X5D. So what youre getting is a huge collection of groundbreaking sounds from the 01/W and M1, in an updated form factor and at a great price. The combi mode of the X5D allows you to combine different patches (which are editable), and you can come up with some pretty mind-blowing stuff! This thing is awesome!

This keyboard is in excellent condition, with only a few signs of use (please see photos), including some scratches on the body. The unit has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, who has confirmed the integrity and flawless operation of the unit. All keys, buttons, and lights are working perfectly. The display is easy to read. Includes official soft case!
