Isolating boxes / line isolating boxes are used between network-operated devices to prevent ripple loops. However, they can also be used for the conversion of asymmetrical to symmetrical lines.
PLI-02 – Dual-Channel Line Isolaion Box for professional stage / studio use. The input jack is a Neutrik combi socket, which accommodates both male XLR plugs as well as jack plugs. An XLR / m jack is used on the output side. Symmetrical or asymmetrical operation is easily possible thanks to the combination in the input. This makes the PLI-02 ideal for balancing unbalanced mixer outputs. (“Jack pure, XLR raus”). However, it can also be used simply for the transformer balancing of existing electronic inputs or outputs.
