I’m advertising this as being for parts or not working BUT the good news is that it does work. The first three controls are very noisy in operation – really crunchy . Some describe this fault as having ‘scratchy or worn pots’ . Once you’ve got them where you want them it’s OK but it ain’t ideal in a studio environment. For anyone who is handy at servicing this sort of thing it’s probably an easy fix. If your lucky once you’re inside the unit it might just be judicious application of servisol but I think the only real cure will be to replace the pots – they are straightforward analogue pots not encoders.

I have two of these Lexicons but only one power supply so I’m selling this WITHOUT a power supply – a new PSU off Ebay is around 10-11. There are a couple of sellers who advertise a direct LXP-1 PSU replacement in fact.

PLEASE NOTE this unit is 9volt AC …. NOT DC !!! I’ll say it again, it’s not DC like a lot of Boss FX, it’s AC – Alternating current. Using DC (Direct Current) will cause damage, probably catastrophic. It requires an AC/AC power supply.

The quality of the reverb on these units is outstanding , there’s good reason why people love them.

It weighs 1.7kg so there’s a good chance it’ll be over 2kg by the time it’s packed up and that pushes the postage up a bit.

Please check my feedback, I’ve described the unit and it’s fault honestly and as best I can.
