This preamp knocked me for six when it came to recording guitars and kick drum (linked to KM 184s). Most top end preamps have a slew rate of around 30V /microsecond. The Buzz Audio MA2.2 has a slew rate of over 120V /microsecond. This results in transients being captured faithfully and cleanly.I’m moving home soon and dismantling my studio and having to sell my lovely equipment so this sale is tinged with sadness but if you are looking for a fantastic sounding preamp that can give that extra something to vocals as well as pristine capture of large transients then this amp is a perfect choice.
