ALISA-1377 ALISA-1377 – Rare SOVIET-Era MONOPHONIC ANALOG VINTAGE synthesizer, made in the same factory as Polivoks. Basically, it’s a 1 oscillator stripped-down version of the Polyvox.Some my notes about : All 4 waveforms (sine, square, saw, soviet saw) of the oscillator can beplayed at the same time (or any combination) – best is a “Sovietsaw”, which I guess is halfway between square and saw. Soviet saw has something like PWM, square has PWM (intensity and depth), LFO (triangle and square WF, with 10x multiplier so it can go fast enough to produce different tones! Also a knob for the depth that modulates the frequency of the VCO), 2 ASDR envelope generators (re-routable), tuning, and a “kill sound” switch. Produces some amazing tones, the Polivox filter gets REALLY nasty when you crank it (as well as the LFO with the 10x multiplier applied!). “Soviet saw” waveform is killer, especially with its PWM knob.Some official description from the book “VINTAGESYNTH’S A-Z” by PETER FORREST:
44-note (F-C) 1-VCO monosynth.
Designed as a standard monosynth, but also a source of “non-standard-electrical signals for scientific and educational needs.
VCO has controls for waveform, FM, mod amount, PWM, harmonics, portamento, tuning, and octave switching.
The 1377 synth filter can be used as additional oscillator when filter`s resonance knob in self-oscillaltion position and it sounds really weird and interesting!
Simple vibrato LFO; VCF; ADSR.
Switching is generally done with push-buttons. Connection on the rear panel : on/off switch, OUTPUT on standard 1/4”jack, fuse (0,5A) . Visual condition is good and clean for such old unit. You can see condition on actual pictures below. Working condition is excellent. Only the keys have become yellowish , but it looks like elegant vintage charm :)Nowadays these machines are super rare thing over world!
All sliders and switches were serviced and cleaned before this auction and are without any noise on moving .
