The mixer software is great for recording and creating an internal mix, it turns the sound card into a simple mixer. Use the software to route and control the signals going in and out of it.
The 800 FireWire port snapped off cleanly a while back but still works as it should through the FireWire 400.
I have the original part and it is a simple fix, if you need the 800 port. Original software CD and manual.
