Soundcraft B800 Console
This is a great little desk with many features prefect for any audio needs such as broadcasting, live sound and what we used this for… recording! This has been the centre point and work horse of our studio but we’re looking to upgrade/upsize.

All channels have a stepped gain stage with analogue trim for finer adjustments.
4 band eq’s on all channels with a high pass to 70Hz, these eq’s are very precise which makes shaping the sound you want easy.
All groups and master sections have broadcast quality limiters with threshold and release control and the option to link making them stereo pairs.
All ins and outs on the back panel of the desk are xlr connectors making it a balanced console throughout lowing noise which is usually caused by unbalanced systems.
At the top of each channel and group there is the matrix where each channel/group can be routed to either stereo master or group making for easy routing. This can be used to create parallel compression e.g. groups 1&2 uncompressed and groups 3&4 compressed.
The meter bridge is for monitoring the levels of all aux sends and group levels. There are also 2 RTW VU meters, one for metering master 1 and the other metering the phase coherency and level of your selected source making it very useful on a mixdown.
And finally a little speaker where you can monitor PFL as well as being a nice reference speaker for a mix as it sounds like a radio that would be found in your kitchen.
This console also comes with the stand made to measure, the power units and corresponding cables with two spares as well as an EDAC connecter which terminates to xlr’s used for the aux sends.
