This is the second Electro Voice 635a dynamic omnidirectional microphone I have for sale.
Made in Buchanan, Michigan in the USA, this one is in better cosmetic condition than the other one. There are some small body scratches and a little bit of discolouration inside of the XLR inputs area but it works really really well.
These have been around since the 60s. I don’t know how old this one is, but I would say it’s at least 20 years. It’s good condition and gets used on overheads, guitar cabs and I’ve even used it on acoustic guitar – it gives a really big room sound like Harrison doing My Sweet Lord. Big and even with no “boom”. You have to try it.
They’re still making them. Same sound. Same indestructible, heavy little bullet proof go to mic.
