The internal memory has been cleared down to create a completely clean slate for all of your samples and productions.
16 and 24 bit sampling. Superb sound output. Sonically rich with a 3D sonic image. Lots of headroom making for loud clear signals. Most Producers that use the MPC 4000 really don’t need to add any EQ Pre, during or Post production which adds level but the choice is yours. Blows away the newer model offerings from Akai like the MPC X, Live and MPC One which are little more than plastic emulations of the real thing. Streamlined but lacking the full bodied frequency range of the MPC 4000.
Drag and drop sample transfers via the USB socket on the front of the MPC which is a much more reliable option instead of trying to get the prehistoric Aksys to work on a computer with an OS from within the last 5 years, possibly longer.
No risk of downloading bugs or corrupted files via an OS update with this. What you see is what you get and this is the real deal heavyweight.
Brilliant sequencer that allows for basic ridged settings like the MPC 60 for that DJ Premier Boom Bap feel, through to more fluid drum / sample programming sequencer feels i.e. – MPC 3000 /2000 / 2500 etc. The MPC 4000 takes things further by allowing for styles more free hand / freestyle with very loose quantize for that J Dilla / Flying Lotus feel.
The bulk of Jay Z’s music catalogue was produced by Just Blaze and for the longest time he was on the MPC 4000 bringing the skills with masterful production on a unit such as this.
This unit comes with an original hard copy of the MPC 4000 Manual and is packed inside a new flight case to protect it in transit via the courier which for this order will be the reliable UPS service.
