AKAI SG01v VINTAGE SYNTHESIZER SOUND MODULE!
WITH ORIGINAL MANUAL AND PSU.
Time to part with a couple of my home studio favourites, I need some funds for a new venture.
In terms of great sounding vintage synth sounds in a small space, nothing comes close to the SG01v. For a while I had one running alongside an Oberheim Matrix 1000, and would often end up preferring what was coming out of the SG. I’ve included a pic of the page in the manual which shows the presets, it covers everything from huge old analogue sounds to late 80’s digital to string synths to choirs to weird sound effects to vintage drum machine hits, all in a way that sounds great and sits well in a mix. Anyway, it’s a half-rack sized stereo midi module, preset based but with some tweaking and effects, it’s in perfect working order (just did factory reset and fully tested), nice cosmetic shape with just some expected age-related wear and tear, good bright screen, original manual and original UK 3 pin PSU included (it looks like a standard 10v DC so if you’re in the EU I imagine you should be able to find a 2 pin version, or just pop on a UK to EU adapter!). Sorry to see it go, part of my mini studio shake-up to get some new gear in.
