Here we have on offer a custom built valve EQ unit. Complete with a British valve pre circuit module and vintage style EQ controls

These are the same valve modules as used in our top of the range mic pre units which are being used in studios all over the world.

The valve module uses the classic British valve line up as used in the very early mixing consoles, EF86 and ECC88 as input gain and output stages. Very unique sound and character not found in any other valve EQ units. this is built from very high grade components including Vishay PR series resistors, low noise parts
Add to that some very high quality input and output transformers and you get a fully transformer balanced signal and wonderful transformer colour and to the signal chain
The EQ section is totally passive and noise free using inductor based filter circuits as found in some very early EQ style units. Upgraded PCBs with platted through holes for better fixing and reliability.
Upgraded high quality Cosmos Tocos sealed metal shaft potentiometers, very high quality parts

We have fitted controls so you can get an extra 6 or 12db boosts through the valve gain stages. This is great if you want to get some valve gain for your line inputs.
Also an output attenuation switch for -12db, this allows you to drive the unit harder and back off output levels. Some really nice distortion and colour can be achieved
