I bought this new a couple of years ago whilst out in Australia where I used it only 2 or 3 times before bringing it home where it has sat on a shelf ever since.
It enables you to connect your guitar to Garageband on either iPad, iPhone or Mac and take advantage of the amazing range of Amplifier and effects pedals which are available on there.
The only thing which you may need to purchase in addition is a different cable or adapter for the newer generation Apple devices.
