Here we have a Wireless microphone kit, made by Audio Technica called ATW-251/L
Working on a VHF frequency 173.800 Mhz
There is nothing wrong with the VHF bands they just seem to have gone out of flavour
However this can work to ones advantage as not so many people are using the VHF band now, and quite often one can obtain a better range on VHF than on the UHF ( the old TV channels ) band
This kit is ideal for presentations as it is the presenter version that allows someone to have both hands free.
The Microphone has a metal crocodile clip and a 4 pin locking Lemo plug.
The receiver has a volume control on the back to match the input of the amplifier / mixer
and the output is on a mono 1/4″ (6.35mm ) jack plug
With an installation / Operation manual ( someone has drawn a little diagram on the front )
