This very useful tool is for those on a low budget. It works well and for what it is, is very very good and versatile. The omnidirectional pattern can capture sound equally on all sides, the cardioid pattern can pick up your source signal while rejecting off-axis sounds, and the figure-eight pattern can capture sound both behind and in front of the microphone. The C-3’s transducer and gold-plated XLR output provide a neutral sound and offer transmission with minimum noise. The microphone is constructed of a die-cast metal body for durability and includes a swivel mount and carrying case. It has a Low End Frequency Cut option switch and a -10db option switch.The carrying case functions fully but has to be taped shut due to slight exterior damage.
