Up for grabs is a U12 rack containing an Europower EP4000 amplifier with a H&H X3 Electronic crossover. The rack is reasonable condition, it’s on rubber castors, been around a bit, slightly rusty corners on one side, a few dings here and there. All the butterfly catches work as expected. H&H X3 active stereo crossover, not sure how old this is, but powers on OK, I have no way to test this but has worked recently without any problems.
I bought the amplifier about 5 years ago for my band, it was intended to run 4 bass bins but soon after building the PA, the band finished and I have not used it since, it powers on OK and I have no way to test it, but these amps are pretty bulletproof.
I have built 4 dished speakon sockets into the outside of the rack, I had originally intended to hard wire the amp and crossover and run speakers externally, far easier to do this than mess around inside the case on a gig. A power extension is built into the case, the amp and crossover comes with their own power cables.
This amp would run a whole PA system I expect, or it can be used with another amp for top or mid or both. This set up could be the basis of a killer PA system.
Starting out at 250 quid, cash on collection, pickup only. It’s not particularly heavy, but awkward to lift on your own. I will not ship this, but feel free to arrange your own courier. UK buyers only please.
