These come with a free protective case for easy storage/transportation and also microphone clips for mic stands or studio arms.
I purchased a load of these for group interview sessions which I underestimated numbers for (including a few redundant backups), so have a few sets boxed up I notice have never been used. So these are still brand new.
Like most pro mics these come without cables so please keep this in mind when bidding. These mics accept a male XLR (standard mic plug). You can get cables which adapt the XLR to a 3/4 inch jack plug which work fine. To ensure best sound quality I recommend a good quality balanced cable, a brand like visio sound or keneable are ones I’ve used which work very well.
The mics typically work without the need for phantom power. I don’t know your setup and have limited audio engineering knowledge, so this listing assumes you do your own due diligence and know if these are suitable for your needs.
The cardioid pickup pattern means if you point the mic at your mouth or sound source then it will pick it up. Other background noise will either not be picked up or will be very quiet, which is exactly what it’s designed to do because it suitable for use on stage (where you have things like crowd noise, instruments, etc) and is also good for podcasting. Of course it’s also suitable for studio recording, although your mileage may vary depending on what you are trying to achieve.
If you are podcasting these are a very good starter mic and punch well above their weight compared to more expensive ones such as a sure for example. Technically they wont be as good as a single one you spend 100 for, but these are a pretty close alternative which are very good and also there’s 3 of them. What’s not to love?
