This is a Celestion studio monitor speaker.It is constructed from MDF but is not excessively heavy. The original Celestionspeaker has been replaced with an old UK made Celestion K200 which hasfantastic response across the frequency range. There is also an electroniccrossover and horn tweeter. The pictures show the speaker itself with originalcone and no tears or imperfections. The tweeter is also shown. The cloth covering is in very good conditionas the unit has only been used in a home setting. The unit was originally rated at 200 wattsRMS but the original woofer was not really capable of producing deep notes. TheK200 can manage anything including bass guitar at reasonable volume. Thecabinet is a trapezoidal and can be used either upright or angled upward on thefloor. I have used it in both orientations and it has never missed a beat. Due to the size, and weight of this speakerit is for collection only from my home in the KT3 area of SW London.
