Chord HU6 6 Way UHF Wireless Microphone System – No Licence required.
This item is in great condition and comprises of 3 x hand mics and 3 x head mics with belt pack transmitters. However, the red channel hand mic has developed a fault and does not work. All the other channels work fine and can be operated at the same time. The belt transmitter packs may also be used with suitable lapel microphones (not supplied)
HU6 6-WAY UHF WIRELESS SYSTEM
A Diversity wireless system with 6 independent UHF channels. Uniquely developed circuitry enables more wireless microphones to operate together within the Licence free 863-865MHz Channel 70 band. The receiver is 2U 19" rack-mountable and features 6 separate XLR outputs or a mixed jack output. Expanded use of licence free frequencies without compromising performance. The Diversity system uses two aerials. Each aerial is constantly monitored to establish which one has the best reception. The diversity system automatically and seamlessly switches to the aerial with the best reception.
The six microphones match the performance and facilities of systems costing treble. The cardioid capsule is noted for its ability to capture every nuance of the performances voice whilst rejecting side and rear sounds particularly useful when close to the PA. It is soft suspended to drastically reduce handling noise and protected by a steel grille and foam which stops the plosive sound when held close to the mouth. The grille can be easily unscrewed and cleaned. The frequency response is tailored to the vocalists requirements and the sound always remains clear and free of distortion.
