This driver was taken out of a 60W Crate american guitar amp,These amps were made in the late 70s onwards,The speaker works great ,I can’t find the paper that was on the back of the chassis ,It stated that was made in a factory in New Orleans,I used it all through the late 70s in smaller venues, instead of lugging in 4×4 stacks ,up to the late 90s when the amp motherboard went t**ts up,Her indoors wants to get into my mancave to redecorate it ,WHY,!!!.,,,,It’s been perfect for me for the last 30 odd years,So I’m de cluttering (with a saddened heart ) I would’nt be able to own a car breakers yard,,I would’nt want to sell anything,…anyway back to the driver .Itested it on a meter for ohms and used the old 1.5v battery trick to check the voice coil fo rub and scratching ,both in and out,No problem there ,so all in all a perfectly good US driver .Good luck
