Crown CTs 8200 Power Amplifier. 3U rack mount 8 channel amp in good clean condition with minimal marks as you can see in the photos. 200w per channel which make it a good option for somebody that’s looking for an amp to go in to a rack for a home cinema, shop or a pub. Crown are known for being well built & reliable pcs ok kit made generally in the US. This particular unit was designed for a fixed purpous with 8 inputs on Phenix connectors & 8 speaker screw terminal outputs. Each of the 8 channels are controllable with there own volumes. There are also options to switch between ohm’s or 100v line depending on what your looking at using this for. Standard IEC power lead will also be supplied and the unit has been set back to the standard factory settings, tested as well as had a service/internal clean even thought this unit has not done much work in its time and didn’t really need it. If your slightly dazzled by the amount of inputs and wondering how to send a standard L&R signal like you would to a 2 channel amp then you have two options. One keep it simple and make 2x quad splitter leads x1 for Left 4 channels & 1 for the right 4 channels.. For example for the left set F’XLR, Stereo Jack socket or F’RCA which ever you rather, wire to Channel 1 phenix con then daisy chain to 2, 3 & 4 the same for the Right, in 5 then daisy chain to 6, 7 & 8. Option two is a little more tricky and you need to download the hiQ net program to assign the channels though a network if you rather.Feel free to ask me questions if you need, link leads i can help with & Hi Q net can be searched on the web also.
