Hi all

For sale here is a Digidesign 002 console unit. I will be leaving the country to teach English in S. Korea in a couple of weeks, so I’m selling off a lot of my weighty music gear.

The item has been in storage for the past year but to the best of my knowledge, essentially everything is working correctly (it was last time I used it). I’ve just powered the unit up (see first pic) and all seems good. The only slight issue that I know of, is that the panning pot on channel 1 has become unseated from the board (see pic 4). The light still functions but the pot spins freely and doesn’t change any parameters. I had this issue when I was using it – if you’re working on a project then you can simply press the R button to shift all the tracks to different channels on the unit and just use a different knob to pan that track (or you can obviously go into your DAW and use your mouse, but eww). I imagine it’s actually a super easy fix and you just need to solder it back down, but my last soldering project was a disaster so I’ll leave that to somebody else.
