This is a really great condition Digidesign Command 8 ProTools control surface, hardly used and in its original box.
Condition is Used. Dispatched with Other Courier (3 to 5 days).
I bought this for use with Pro Tools LE some time ago, and it was rarely used as I didnt really have the room to keep it out, and as it was a hobby I wasnt recording often enough then to justify keeping up to date with ProTools. Im selling as I have recently acquired Logic Pro X, and as far as I understand it uses a different control language so it is surplus to requirements. The control surface works 100%. There is a standalone mode which allows it to work as a standalone MIDI controller but Im not a MIDI expert! It still has the wee plastic film on the LCD screen… I am kinda reluctant to let it go for nostalgic reasons, but at the end of the day Im not using it anymore, so would like to re-invest in other equipment.
Im told it works with current versions of PT, but I havent tried it so youd need to research that yourself. I do understand that the free version, Pro Tools First doesnt support any control surfaces so itll likely not work with that one.
