Thanks for bidding and good luck! Some high praise for the SP-1200″This machine is the cornerstone of rap/hip hop in the late 80’s and especially the 90’s.””The SP-1200 pure and simply is, was, and will always be the dopest drum machine in the history of Hip-Hop.””The SP1200 is behind the sound of a lot of the golden era stuff and is the most recognizable sound there is out there.””The E-mu SP-1200 is one of the most iconic samplers in the history of electronic music.””The machine rose to such prominence that its strengths and weaknesses sculpted an entire era of music: the crunchy digitized drums, choppy segmented samples, and murky filtered basslines that characterize the vintage New York sound are all mechanisms of the machine.”
